Joshua Scott Chasez was born on August 8, 1976 in Washington D.C. JC was very shy before he auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club. He says he was dared into it! Lucky for us he doesn't back down from dares. While JC was on the MMC, he became friends with fellow cast member, Justin Timberlake.
But before the MMC, JC wouldn't even join the Maryland's Boy Choir! He was very shy. The thing was that he wasn't scared of going in front of people, he's just a perfectionist, it was the fear of messing up or something going wrong.
When the show was cancled, JC travled the US trying to find a place to start a solo career. He went to L.A., then back home, then to Nashville. He was even working with the same vocal coach that Justin was at one point. But some how, he ended up back in Orlando.
Then, one day, he got a call from Justin telling him that a friend of his, Chris, wanted to start a group.
With blue eyes and brown hair, this hottie loves to have anything to do with the entertainment business. He's a workoholic. Once he gets something to do, he dives right in and doesn't come out 'til he's finished.
Nowadays, when JC is home, he enjoys playing in the yard, throwing the ball in the street, watching movies, relaxing, and practicing handsprings!! He can do those?!
When *N Sync started becoming popular in the US, JC's girlfriend dumped him. He was taught to assume not everything is always gonna be around, take advantage of every oppurtunity. He was thinking she was the one, and was even thinking of marrying her!! Not right away, but thinking it terms of long-time commitment.
